Asaf was a great DJ at our wedding in Tel Yitzhak. We were planning a wedding from abroad and neither one of us is big on the DJ space in Israel. We had a lot of meetings with DJs and felt like this was the most difficult choice for us personally to make in the whole process. When we called with Asaf, we instantly felt a connection and saw that he is here to make not only us, but the guests happy.
As preparation, we discussed our styles, what we like and dislike and a bit about our family backgrounds, to understand what music to incorporate for our families to also be happy at the party. After that, we got to make some playlists for our in-person meeting the week before the wedding.
There we discussed the schedule, went through a bit more different styles for him to make sure he doesn’t play things we disliked and introduced him even to some genres that aren’t extremely popular in Israel but our guests loved who came from abroad. He was open to any idea we came with.
At the wedding, everything went smoothly. Asaf is really able to read the crowd (which I think is though with the smaller guests we had of around 130), change up the tempo is needed and also knows when to let the couple know when to come back to the dance floor. We, and all of our guests, were really enjoying themselves the whole night. Thanks for everything, Asaf! ...
